Hiding Labels & Values

This page provides a guide on how to save indicator / script templates on your TradingView account.

Hiding Indicator Labels

1

Open the Chart Layout

Ensure that you have your chart open on TradingView.

2

Access the Indicator Settings

  • Right-click on the chart and select Settings from the context menu.

  • Alternatively, click on the gear icon next to the indicator on your chart to access its settings.

3

Disable Indicator Labels

  • In the Settings window, navigate to the Status line tab.

  • Find the option Indicator Name Label.

  • Uncheck this option to hide the indicator labels on your chart.

This action will remove any text labels associated with the indicator, leaving a cleaner chart focused solely on price action.

Hiding Values and Arguments

1

Open the Chart Settings

Follow the same process as above to open the Settings menu for the indicator.

2

Hide Indicator Values

  • In the Settings window, go to the Status line section.

  • Uncheck Indicator Values and Indicator Arguments. This will remove numerical values and the arguments from your chart.

3

Additional Adjustments for Clarity

If you'd like to further clean up your chart, navigate to the Scales section.

  • Uncheck Indicator Name Label (if you haven't already).

  • Ensure Indicator Last Value is enabled to display only the most relevant information.
