# Hiding Labels & Values

### Hiding Indicator Labels

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Open the Chart Layout**

Ensure that you have your chart open on TradingView.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Access the Indicator Settings**

* Right-click on the chart and select Settings from the context menu.
* Alternatively, click on the gear icon next to the indicator on your chart to access its settings.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Disable Indicator Labels**

<figure><img src="/files/jbjWR14Te0zzguTi8uh3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* In the Settings window, navigate to the **Status line** tab.
* Find the option Indicator Name Label.
* Uncheck this option to hide the indicator labels on your chart.
  {% endstep %}
  {% endstepper %}

This action will remove any text labels associated with the indicator, leaving a cleaner chart focused solely on price action.

### Hiding Values and Arguments

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Open the Chart Settings**

Follow the same process as above to open the Settings menu for the indicator.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Hide Indicator Values**

<figure><img src="/files/jbjWR14Te0zzguTi8uh3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* In the Settings window, go to the **Status line** section.
* Uncheck Indicator Values and Indicator Arguments. This will remove numerical values and the arguments from your chart.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Additional Adjustments for Clarity**

If you'd like to further clean up your chart, navigate to the Scales section.

* Uncheck Indicator Name Label (if you haven't already).
* Ensure Indicator Last Value is enabled to display only the most relevant information.
  {% endstep %}
  {% endstepper %}
