# Changing Colors & Grid

### Optimizing Chart Colors

To customize the color scheme of your chart for better visual appeal:

1. Right-click on the chart background or use the **Chart Settings button** (gear icon).
2. In the settings window, **navigate to Canvas** and adjust the color scheme of your candles, gridlines, and more.
3. Choose a light or dark theme based on your preference.

### Adjusting Gridlines

Gridlines help in guiding your eyes through the chart for better analysis:

* To adjust gridlines, go to **Chart Settings > Grid** and enable or disable the horizontal/vertical gridlines.
* You can also adjust their opacity for a more subtle effect.
