How to Get Updates
Stay up to date with the latest versions of our tools, scripts, and indicators.
To ensure you are using the latest version of our indicators and toolkits, make sure to update them whenever there’s one available. We offer both minor patches (quick fixes) and major updates (significant feature changes) so you receive the best performance and functionality for your trading needs.
Applying an Update
Updating your indicator or toolkit in TradingView is quick and easy.
Method 1: Direct Update from TradingView
Refresh Your Chart: Once an update is available, refresh your TradingView chart.
Look for the Update Icon: A purple 🔄 icon will appear next to the indicator's title on the chart.
Click the Icon: Click on the purple update icon and select "Update to Latest Version" from the dropdown.
Method 2: Manual Update Process
Refresh Your Browser or App: If the update icon does not appear automatically, try refreshing your browser or the TradingView app.
Remove the Indicator: Click on the indicator in your chart and remove it.
Re-add the Indicator: Navigate to the Invite-Only Scripts section and re-add the indicator. This will add the latest version to your chart.
Make sure to save your chart layout after installing the update. This way, the updated indicator will remain on your chart layout instead of getting lost in future sessions.
Receiving Update Notifications
We always announce updates on our Zeiierman Community server on the Updates channel. Join the Zeiierman Discord for real-time notifications about updates and new features.
To keep up-to-date with the latest updates for our indicators, you can enable notifications directly on TradingView:
Go to Settings > Notifications > Scripts You've Added to Favorites or Liked.
Follow the Zeiierman's TradingView account to receive automatic alerts for new updates.
Retaining Previous Versions (Optional)
While it's recommended to always use the latest version of the indicator, we understand that one may want to retain a copy of the previous version for reference or testing.
Here's how to save a previous version:
Before Updating: If you'd like to save a copy of the current version of the indicator, go to Template in TradingView and click Save As.
Save the Template: Name the template and save it to keep a backup of the indicator version before updating.
Revert to Older Version: If you prefer the previous version, you can always go back to the saved template and re-apply it to your chart.
By following these steps, you can ensure that you are always using the latest and most effective tools. If you encounter any issues during the update process, refer to our Troubleshooting Guide or contact support for assistance.
